I did it

Today I woke up with a huge sense of accomplishment. Those of you who have been hanging around this place for awhile knows, that I have been banging my head against a wall trying to figure out how to semi automate the creation and updating the listing of wishblade files.

I finally found a way last night. A way which means that I don't have to spend hours and hours entering code for each image and zip file. I will spend some time later writing up a smallish piece about how I did it, but the premises are Process Tags, a bit of code in a page where I want certain images to appear and making good use of being able to label assets within the Movable Type asset admin interface.

I don't know if it's the most efficient way to do this, but for now it is working and I figured out how to do it on my own.
Well I didn't really install. Just pushed a few buttons, typed a few characters and the scripts did the rest. If it'd be more complicated than that I would probably have chosen something else.

Anyway this new install, which really is more like a reinstall, is part of my new year domain cleanup plan. Those of you who have been hanging around here for a few years know that every so often I like to start with a blank or near blank slate. Keeps things fresh instead of going stale.
